I love trees. Trees teach us strength with their strong trunks and spreading root systems. They each have their own unique twists and character as they spread upwards to the light. And their roots twist and curve sometimes out beyond the soil, exposed to the air searching for nutrients and structure where the bank has collapsed due to erosion.

Did you know that a walk in nature can improve well-being and mental health? Going for a walk amongst the trees, their strength and beauty beside me, I try to match myself to their strength. To be reminded that I am a strong individual with courage, fortitude and compassion in my life.
