Nature DrawingsOn the river’s edge we meet

Rochelle Summerfield’s art practice is greatly influenced by her connections and experiences with nature, in particular the streams and rivers near where she lives. Through drawings, she reflects on these experiences and the emotions when confronted by the environmental loss and its impact on the riparian landscape that she loves.  Her latest collection of drawings are the ‘Sanctuary Tree project’, where she responds to the grand, aged trees much like in portraiture, capturing their felt presence on paper.
