Getting wet and muddy inspired this work, as I pushed the canoe along a small tributary, at the Mighty Clarence River in Australia’s Northern New South Wales.I thought of wild Amazonian women and my heroine. Protecting her things, that are precious remnants of memories. The work explores the wild in us all, particularly mothers.
