Description
Crowing, from Rochelle Summerfield’s House of Stocks series, uses a house built from mortgage and bank fee newsprint, with a rooster on a bed sounding a warning about financial pressure and home ownership. The house as a home gives a feeling of security and love. The house can also have its shadow self of pain, anger, and suffering.
This work combines a photo shoot of handmade collages of torn newspapers and vintage collage and photos, that have been manipulated and made into an artwork. It is professionally printed and can be professionally framed by my framer. Please contact me for a quote from the framer.
