I am that enchanted Banksia
As I look up into the night sky with stars bright,
I breathe and soften,
I am that aged Banksia
with the lumby bumby skin,
As time slowly unfurls across the night sky
Bridging star spaces of patience
There is some wild glimpse of
understanding the reciprocity of love.
As I bemoaned the aging spots in my own skin,
the lumby bumby Banksia whispered
its heartfelt love for me.
