Description
I stood on the riverbank of the Clarence River, with its cracked mud and dirt with a beautiful sheet of 300gsm creamy Arches Watercolour paper. The artwork retains some of these unique mud marks, grass textures and torn paper. As I began to draw and pour on paint, in-situ on the riverbank, a stunning Sea Eagle passed overhead. His immense wingspan cast a shadow over the river. This artwork is a lovely reminder about being present in the moment, attuned to nature, as we are one with it. The Sea Eagle reminds us to shift our perspective about things, like out-dated beliefs and old stories.
