Description

Let’s embrace the awesomeness of our wonderful natural habitat and rivers! They are the lifeline of all communities! People and habitat, we are all interconnected! Last year, I was confronted by a river with no water, no fish, just a dried-out riverbed with two stoic gums. At the same time, breaking news was the Menindee fish kill crisis and the extinction of species like the Macquarie Perch from the Macquarie River. I am so fortunate to live by the Clarence River and I’m deeply influenced by my connections and experiences with the rivers and trees nearby. Seeing the Macquarie River, deviated by severe drought, drove the making of this work and my desire to highlight the urgency of our amazing river systems. Let’s reconnect with nature, bring some inspiration into your home.

From the sale of this work I will donate $100 to the Australian Wildlife Conservancy.
